We were a large group of 19 and booked for the buggy tour in advance. Red Tours were very helpful and friendly in their communication, even going out of their way to suggest restaurants for us for our trip. I was slightly nervous about driving the buggy but they couldn't have been easier to drive, and we went in convoy so we all felt safe the whole time. We did a tour of the old town which was beautiful, and would be quite exhausting to walk up because it's so hilly so seeing it all in the buggies was great. The guides let us stop at a view point and we had great views over Lisbon - would definitely do this again

We initially signed up for the Belém Tour by GPS. However, they told us that a deposit of €100 per Segway would be required. In the end, we chose to have a guide instead, for €20. After a brief instruction session, we set off to Belém. The ride along the Tagus river on the bicycle track was nice. Gliding all the way to Belém was cool. Definitely better than walking or taking the tram. The view of Pont 25 de Abril and Cristo Rei were fantastic. We took breaks at Padrão dos Descobrimentos and Torre de Belém. Then it was straight back to Praço do Comércio. The only regret was that we were not allowed to go a bit faster. Nevertheless, it was a memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Peter was our guide in May 2014-sorry for the delay in posting this. I thought the price was reasonable, we had a discount coupon from a tourist pamphlet. We walked in to schedule the appointment and we were lucky they took us that day. Peter spoke perfect English, his dad had been a professional chef. My husband and I had used a Segway before in Vienna and we thought this guide was friendlier and it was great Peter took just the two of us and showed us parts of the old town we wouldn't have seen as well as make great recommendations for food and sites. We easily navigated uneven pavement and hills. Rolled past churches and the castle, up and down where the locals hang, beautiful views, one of the highlights of Lisbon. This is truly the easiest way to see the city. There were helmets to use, we are fit 50+ folks, but you could easily do it in your 90's...it is easier than walking and faster and cooler too! So much fun too! thank you 10/10
